PTO EG2 Control
One characteristic of the Scania factory specification (FPC). Every vehicle leaves the factory with exactly one of the variants below — for example BWS - with (bodywork system controlled) — and SDP3 shows it in the chassis specification.
What it means
Control of the second engine-driven power take-off. It mirrors the EG control of the first unit: on two-PTO vehicles the factory writes the bodywork-system variant for both. Vehicles with a single PTO leave it at Without.
If you add a second PTO, raise the total amount and the number of connections at the same time, otherwise the coordinator never offers the second unit.

How to read it
PTO EG2 Control belongs to the gearbox & driveline group of the Scania specification. The variant tells you what the vehicle was ordered with — Without means the option was not fitted at the factory . The specification is fixed at production: if the vehicle was modified afterwards (a PTO added, an axle converted), the FPC list still shows the original order, while the SOPS parameters show the current configuration of each control unit. Scania SOPS Editor decodes the full specification of a SOPS file with these descriptions — including the codes themselves, which are not published here.
