Service reminder distance

What it controls

Distance interval in km after which the instrument cluster shows the service reminder. The value comes from the maintenance programme sold with the vehicle; operators that switch to a different maintenance plan (for example from a fixed interval to a flexible plan, or after a change of oil specification) need the interval updated, otherwise the reminder appears too early or too late. On some generations the reminder is managed in the BWE block as ServiceDistVeh; both places must agree. Resetting the reminder after a service is done in SDP3, while changing the interval itself is a specification change performed in the SOPS file.
