Engine speed control 1 — change rate
SOPS parameter ENGINE_SPEED_CTRL1_CHANGE_RATE · seen in 69 SOPS files
What it controls
How fast the engine speed follows a new set point from the bodywork engine speed control, in rpm per second. A high rate makes the engine react immediately to the body request, which suits pumps that need quick flow changes; a low rate gives a soft ramp that protects hydraulic components and keeps a crane movement smooth. Typical factory values are around 1000 rpm/s; refrigeration units and generators usually work well with a slower ramp. If the operator complains about jerky hydraulics when the set point changes, reducing this rate is the first thing to try before touching the body's own controller. The parameter applies to the CTRL1 channel only.
