Raised idle speed — parking brake condition

SOPS parameter RAISED_IDLE_SPEED_PARK_BRAKE_COND · seen in 70 SOPS files

What it controls

Sets whether the parking brake must be applied for the raised idle function to be active. Together with the neutral condition it forms the stationary interlock of the function: a body-mounted crane or a compressor should only run the engine at raised idle while the truck is secured. Releasing the parking brake with the condition active drops the engine back to normal idle at once, which is a safe default. Applications that must keep the raised idle while moving slowly (yard work, line marking) set it to Without and rely on the vehicle-speed limits of the engine speed control instead. Change it only after confirming with the body manufacturer's requirements.

Possible values

Withoutseen in 70 files

With
