Power mode (gearbox management)

What it controls

Enables the Power performance mode in the gearbox management system, which changes the Opticruise shift points to hold gears longer and use the upper part of the rev range. It is one half of the performance-mode function — the other half is the start-up mode in the EQU/FLC block and the cluster menu. Some specifications use the value “hill” to make the power strategy available only on gradients. Enabling Power mode on a vehicle that did not have it is a pure configuration change within the engine output already homologated for that vehicle; it does not alter the engine calibration, only the shift strategy and the driver menu.
