PTO EG1 — engagement feedback

SOPS parameter PTO_EG1_FEEDBACK · seen in 1 SOPS files

What it controls

Specifies whether the coordinator expects a feedback signal (a pressure or position switch) confirming that the EG1 power take-off is actually engaged. With feedback, the cluster indication and the bodywork status output reflect the real mechanical state and the coordinator can detect a PTO that failed to engage; without feedback, the status simply mirrors the request. Retrofitted PTOs often come without a feedback switch — in that case the parameter must be Without, otherwise the coordinator waits for a signal that never arrives and reports the PTO as not engaged even though it is turning. Match this parameter to the hardware actually installed.
