What it controls
Vehicle speed in km/h above which the EG1 power take-off is disengaged automatically. This is the parameter that separates stationary from mobile PTO applications: a crane or tail-lift chassis typically has a low value (5–10 km/h) so the body cannot be operated while driving, while a gritter, sweeper or mixer needs the value raised or set to Without so the PTO keeps running at road speed. It works together with the parking-brake dependency — if the parking brake dependency is active, the PTO will already disengage when the brake is released regardless of this speed. Always confirm the equipment supplier's maximum driving speed before raising it.
